Peru is the gem of the Latin American mining industry and is an early must market for all mining suppliers to enter. The government is positive about using mining to grow the economy however there is local social resistance due to a lack of education of the impacts of mining. Canada has had a 50 year presence in the Peru mining industry and there is a great respect for the quality of the products and services.
